Anastasiya (pronounced Anna-StAH-ZEE-uh) is a very intense, very magickal person.  Her vessel was made head to toe by a Witch we know in the Carpathian Mountains.  She told us the spirit had been conjured using a mixed method: sewing the doll with her old ribbons and using Zagovory, which is a form of verbal folk magick.  She spoke it into existence, upon Anastasiya's request.  Anastasiya is a Molforka ( a word for a Shaman/Healer/Witch). Lisa HAD to have this vessel, and she ended up paying quite a bit for it, and she was WELL WORTH IT.  I definitely consider Anastasiya to be a Guardian Spirit and a magickal mentor, especially in terms of manifesting - the Zagovory method is a lot like Whisper Healing, you just talk it out with DEEP intentions and Carpathian herbs which we can find online here in the USA. I personally have learned so much from her.  I feel like she has changed my practice quite a bit.  She showed me some ancestors I did not even know I had.  Anastasiya has been a part of all of our magickal goings-on, for about 8 years now.  We really love her, and it literally broke my heart when she said she refused to go to Oregon with me because it is too close to the Pacific Ocean.  WHAT???  I was shattered.  But she has her reasons, and it sounds like there is an old curse involved from centuries ago. She and her descendants can't be that close to the Pacific.  I tried getting more details but she said, in no uncertain terms, that it was none of my business and nothing I could say would change her mind.  I am not one to argue with a force of nature, as she is, so here we are.  This woman can read people AND THINGS.  She can tell you all about the mysterious vase you found at Goodwill, or the single earring you found in your grandmother's old purse.  She can read the history of things.  The vibes and the energies.  She is the type of woman who has seen it all and has the wisdom of the ages to show for it.   She always asks for blessings from the God Zalmoxis before she begins her work. Zalmoxis is a god of the sky, health, and immortality. He is the divine embodiment of wisdom and eternal life.  Zalmoxis also serves as a messenger between the people and the gods, sharing divine knowledge and ensuring a harmonious relationship between the human and divine realms.  I had to look him up when she first mentioned him as I had never heard of him.  Anastasiya can bring messages from the dead because she works with him directly.  As a Molfarka, people came to her for everything from medicines to love potions to snake bites.  She is an Earth Healer, and she draws her cures from the earth itself.  She hates Big Pharma as much as I do, and she shows us everything we can cure ourselves without ever needing "evil medicines" as she calls them. Anastasiya uses the power of nature in everything she does.  The phases of the moon affect her very strongly.  She is a very active spirit.  We have seen her in an elderly woman form, walking in the house, looking like an old Carpathian woman with her hair in a scarf, touching our books, and feeling the walls.  Sometimes we see her checking the other spirits, especially the children.   She tends to collect items from our house that are insignificant, like ribbons, and leaves, things one would never miss.  She makes piles of things sometimes. We find them under her skirts.  She has the wisdom of the world in her eyes.  We like to have her involved in readings and sessions with other spirits.  Her energy is much like that of a medicine woman, from ancient times, and she is here to help.  Anastasiya is calming and soothing, and always so intent on helping us.   We know that she loves to read books and seems to know so much about herbalism, paganism, and astrology.  She considers herself to be quite the magician in the kitchen.  Anastasiya is friendly and knowledgeable and seems to be perfectly self-contained.  She just wants to feel needed, and useful.  Just like the old days.  She is a powerful communicator - she uses dreams in a frighteningly fantastic way. The kind of dreams that leave you shaking and sweaty and grabbing the notebook to write it all down before it goes away. She has POWER and she generates energy when she feels like it. She is extremely telepathic and can POP right into my mind, either visually or audibly. I feel like she wants to be in a home with an energy worker or someone who practices green magick or energy healing. She has used the PSB7 spirit box and the pendulum to communicate. I feel like she should go to someone who has a bit of experience in magickal workings.  She DEFINITELY needs someone to talk out loud to her.  She really likes to be involved with things like spellmakings, divination, herbal works, and various practices. I feel like she is able to KNOW us before we ever think about knowing her. Anastasiya is powerful. 

About the doll: She is OLD, made from cloth and old ribbons, and dressed in a traditional Slavic/Ukrainian dress. She has a built in wire doll stand.
